Joint training

Joint training is the Small Blades' most important activity. This is where we cultivate our common passion - cycling. We have joint training on the racer, mountain bike and spinning team in the winter.

When we train, we divide into teams according to what level we are at. In this way, we get to form some homogeneous groups, giving the best turn. On each team, a captain is chosen, who sets out the route and makes sure that every man gets around safely on the trip. We value security.

Road / Racer

The road season officially lasts from the start of the season in mid-March, until the end of September. However, there are some riders who also ride in the winter. We have two weekly workouts which are as follows:

Training times:

  • Sundays at 09.30
  • Tuesdays at 10.00 (Senior team, etc. who have time off - start from Bike-Pit)
  • Wednesdays at 18.00

Meeting place: Alpi Hallerne, Lind

Holdinddeling
We divide into 2-3 teams, depending on the number of participants and strength.

Hold 1:
Drives between 60 and 90 km. Wednesday evening and ml. 80-120 km. Sunday. The pace is approx. 32 - 35 km / h. The team often runs at intervals, e.g. sign sprints, team races, singles starts, hunts, etc.

Hold 2:
Drives between 50 and 60 km on Wednesdays and 60 - 80 on Sundays at 28-32 km / h. Along the way, there will typically be inlaid city sign sprints.

Hold 3:
Drives between 30 and 50 km on Wednesdays and 50 - 70 on Sundays at 25-28 km / h. On this team there will also be sign sprinters, and it is a team where many start as beginners until the right strength is found.

On each team, a captain is chosen, who handles the following tasks:

  • Explains the route, and notifies in good time when to turn right, left, etc.
  • Makes sure everyone gets along on the route, and makes sure everyone has a good ride and no one gets put off along the way.
  • Initiates hill and sign sprints, and possibly other interval training.

Seniorholdet

Tuesdays at 10.00 the senior team runs, ie. primarily members who have either stopped in the labor market, or are on their way to it. Other members of the club are always welcome to participate, but be aware that driving is on the seniors' terms.

Mountain bike

Mountain biking is very popular. It is a form of exercise that provides a little more interval training and strengthens the technique. Previously, there was only a modest group of club members who rode MTB in the winter, but now MTB is ridden all year round.

Training times throughout the year:

  • Sundays at 09.30 - ca. 12.00
  • Wednesdays at 18:00 - 20:00
  • Friday 16.00 - 18.00

We drive approx. 20 - 40 km. each time, and we divide into teams according to number of participants and strength.

There is room for everyone - level is always set according to the lowest common denominator!
